I have been in research for the past 15 years, starting out as a Clinical Research Practitioner within a mental health Trust and moving into a leadership position 10 years ago. I am passionate around creating more opportunities and access to good quality, safe research that fits with the needs of our local populations.
Within the last 4 years I have been working with an Acute Midlands based Trust, Shrewsbury & Telford Hospitals NHS Trust and we have just received University Status. I am driven to ensure that CRPs become a recognised profession, with a robust career pathway to support the flexibility and expertise of a diverse research workforce.
