Senior Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP), the West Midlands Regional Research Delivery Network
Ruth Johns, Senior Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP) with the West Midlands Regional Research Delivery Network. Ruth joined the Network in 2019, following a long career in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist. She supports research engagement and delivery within wider care settings across the West Midlands, striving to make research more accessible to local communities. Ruth is committed to raising the profile of registered CRPs and creating a community of practice by facilitating regional CRP forums, events and national bulletins etc.. to aid the recognition and development of this emerging profession. Outside of work Ruth is a keen open water swimmer and can often be found enjoying cross country dog walks.
