Community Researcher, Action Hampshire

Jess Johnson is a Community Researcher at Action Hampshire, a local infrastructure organisation that supports voluntary,
community, and social enterprises in Hampshire to thrive. She co-ordinates multiple research and engagement projects that focus on increasing under served communities’ involvement in research and evaluation. Passionate about community-based participatory action research, Jess champions this approach in all her work; most recently she worked with a local residents association to undertake a study on the impact of homeless services on service users’ mental health.
