Laura Bousfield

National Head of Study Support Services, NIHR

Laura has worked hands-on delivering research to patients both in the hospital and the home (she got her first speeding ticket in doing so!). She has worked at a Contract Research Organisation to attract early phase research to the country and has since worked in the network for over a decade optimising research processes system-wide. This is where her passion lies; Laura believes in the nation-wide impact the collective R&D system can have through collaborative working. The processes that enable research matters – these are how we can speed up and spread out access to research for all. She is excited to be part of this event to showcase how colleagues across the UK are making this a reality.
