Mac Emmerson
Public Health Research Programme Manager, NIHR RSS Specialist Centre for Public Health
Mac Emmerson is a Public Health Research Programme Manager at the NIHR RSS Specialist Centre for Public Health. Since 2024 she has been developing a network to support Local Authority Research Practitioners (LARPs) across England. The network and its activities have been intentionally designed to allow LARPs to confidently and comfortably share, discuss and progress in a non-competitive environment.
Mac joined the centre with a background in education and widening participation to medicine and allied health careers. She contributes a vast experience in developing resources, delivering programmes, and nurturing productive and welcoming communities of practice.
