Divisional Manager Research and Innovation, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust

Kay Faulkner is Divisional Manager for Research and Innovation at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, one of Europe’s leading cancer centres and an OECI-accredited Comprehensive Cancer Centre. She oversees a workforce of more than 450 staff and a portfolio of over 800 clinical trials, spanning commercial, and academic research.

Kay is leading large scale transformation within Research and Innovation at The Christie. Her work is central to The Christie’s ambition to consistently achieve 60-day study set-up, advancing national targets and reinforcing the UK’s position as a world leader in research delivery.

She is passionate about the power of digital innovation and cross sector collaboration to accelerate access to cutting edge treatments for patients.

Kay combines strategic vision with operational depth, championing data driven decision making and continuous improvement.
