Christina Daines
Children’s Research Manager, University Hospitals of Leicester
Christina Daines is the Children’s Research Manager at University Hospitals of Leicester. With over 20 years’ experience in research delivery and clinical trials management, she leads two multidisciplinary teams delivering complex paediatric and neonatal research across 20+ specialties. Christina is passionate about compassionate leadership, service improvement, and strategic innovation, contributing to corporate projects focused on quality and transformation. She holds a BSc (Hons) and a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership, and is currently undertaking a Level 7 Senior Leadership Apprenticeship. Her achievements include leading the operational development of a Children’s Clinical Research Facility and shaping workforce strategy through service improvement initiatives. Christina is committed to driving meaningful change and advancing leadership excellence within the NHS.
