Jennifer Boston
Deputy Director of Operations for Research & Innovation, University Hospitals of Leicester
Jennifer Boston is Deputy Director of Operations for Research & Innovation at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. With over 15 years of experience in research governance and a background as a state-registered Clinical Biochemist, she leads strategic initiatives in research quality, governance, and business intelligence. Jennifer chairs key governance meetings, contributes to policy development, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to enhance research compliance and performance. Her inclusive leadership style has earned her recognition, including a UHL Recognition Award nomination in 2025 and recent achievements in a Level 7 apprenticeship and the Rosalind Franklin Leadership programme. Passionate about mentoring and team development, Jennifer is known for driving positive change and cultivating a culture of excellence within the research community.
