Emma Darlington is a Research Manager within the Experimental Cancer Medicine Team (ECMT) at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. Emma has worked in clinical trials administration in Oncology for 9 years.
Emma’s passion to improve the sustainability of clinical trials started during a MRES degree in 2019 through a research project evaluating the unnecessary waste being produced from the clinical trials hosted by the ECMT. From there, Emma has worked alongside colleagues to drive a number of initiatives to develop an evidence base and make recommendations for clinical trial sites to consider and reduce their own impact on the environment.
