Jennifer Teke Medway NHS Foundation Trust

Jennifer possesses over 20 years of experience in healthcare, both nationally and internationally, specialising in health research and epidemiology.

As the Head of Research and Innovation at MFT, she leads and oversees all R&I activities with a focus on governance and patient safety. She is an expert in clinical trial management, including trial setup, site monitoring, and protocol development, with extensive experience in both academic and commercial trials.

Jennifer is a fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health and a facilitator for NIHR research training courses.

Her primary research focus is on health inequalities in Black and Minority Ethnic populations, with a Doctorate thesis on barriers to accessing weight management programs.

She is also a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at Canterbury Christ Church University, actively involved in professional affiliations and contributing to healthcare research advancement.
